4. ALFRED E. BJORGUM, Sacramento, California. Age: 28. In high school Mr. Bjorgum was Student Body President, and a member of the California Scholastic Federation. He attended Sacramento State College for 3 1/2 years where he was a member of the varsity boxing team. He was ableto travel extensively in Europe while serving in the U.S. Army. He has worked throughout the Pacific Northwest and Alaska in the logging industry and spent one ummer in Alaska doing construction work. His hobbies are hunting, water skiing, reading and fishing. | 7. GERALDINE M. CHOWN, Salem Oregon. Age: 22. Miss Chown received her B.A. from the University of Oregon in the field of sociology. Her activities included Y.W.C.A. She spent five summers working in food processing, did volunteer work with the Solem Council of Churches in migrant ministry camp counseling, and worked with mentally retarded children. While in school, she worked in the University library. She has studied Spanish for four years. Her hobbies include skiing, tennis, bowling and hiking. | ||

also done volunteer work tutoring in a study center for underprivileged children, and at Preston School of Industry for Boys. |

8. FREDRICK M. COLACUORI, Flossmoor, Illinois. Age: 23. Mr. Colacuori was an anthropology major and geology minor at Beloit College where he received his B.A. He was active in Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, and formerly active in the Boy Scouts. He has spent two summers on archaeological excavations and another workingas a truck salesman. Mr. Colacuori is very interested in hunting, fishing, playing bridge and collecting coins. |

6. SAMUEL B. BREWSTER, Weston, Massachusetts. Age: 22. While in high school , Mr. Brewster was very active in track and varsity football. He later went on to the University of Wisconsin where he received his B.A. in political science. At the University he was an active member of the student council and a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. For three summers he worked as a construction laborer, and last summer he was a bartender and restaurant waiter on Cape Cod. Mr. Brewster spends his free hours playing golf and tennis, skiing, and playing the piano and harmonica. | 9. JANE A. CONNELL, New York City, New York. Age: 22. Miss Connell received her B.A. from the University of Wisconsin with a major in social work and a sociology minor. She was a member of the Wisconsin Union Travel and Curriculum Committees and was active in the University A Cappella Choir and University Chorus. Her work experience includes volunteer work at a daycare center in N.Y.C., a Federation Camp in Connecticut, and a pilot program for mentally retarded children in Madison, Wisconsin. She has worked as a salsgirl during the summers. She has done extensive camping and cycling in Canada and the U.S. and has also traveled through Western Europe. She likes to sing, read, adn travel.. |
