| We on the Wet Coast are not lazy, you know. We had an agenda: We were going to get the story-telling session going, the plan to encourage another big reunion, maybe not in Seattle just to give others a chance, the oral history. But it was a sunny day, the warmest of September, and lakeside distractions and salmon barbequed on cedar planks. Our sense of priorities told us that planning is for rainy days, and we wanted to talk about the present, and enjoy the food. So we did. | Laurie and I enjoyed having you all here on the 21st and look forward to getting together again in the LA area. It took a while to bring each other up to date, and we appreciated a well timed call from Barbara who couldn't make it down from Oakland. At least we got to talk briefly by phone, so that makes 100% representation from the California contingent. Thanks again for helping round out the dinner with some good salads. Next time we may all get down to the beach, and even get wet! The water temperature has dropped below 70 as summer officially ended last weekend. Again, thanks for coming and let's keep in touch.
