James Spears has been involved in photography, by way of either profession or passion, for four decades. He taught the subject in Venezuela, wrote newspaper columns about it later, and now tries to keep his active stable of cameras below a dozen.

These panoramas are mostly from digital photographs, as many as six individual photos stitched into one to form the panorama. This stitching is performed on a computer, not in the camera. An earlier generation of 1.2 megapixel cameras is sufficient for these images. James also uses film, and lots of it, but digital is the preferred panorama medium.
